Cheyenne Langford, BS Kinesiology, ACSM-CPT, CF L-1, GGS CPPC, BRM
Why am I passionate about BRM? Let me explain: From a young age I have been heavily involved in sports from competing in cross country, softball, basketball, to Crossfit competitions as an adult. My interests led me to degrees in Kinesiology, B.S. and Gerontology from Kansas State University. During my time there, I worked in a exercise research lab (F.I.T.T. Lab) conducting and presenting studies that involved cancer rehabilitation, older adult group fitness interventions, and military readiness. From my experiences, I gained insight on the importance of physical activity throughout the entirety of life situations. Injuries and times of modifications have been a part of my journey in sports and in life too- ACL tears, tendinopathy, three pregnancy and post-partum periods; my first hand experience has only driven the desire I have to help others stay active. I enjoy helping my (primarily female) clients return to sport and excel in their goals (100 mile road bike races to pull-up without abdominal coning) through mainly free weight interventions. I love collaborating and always learning more to provide my clients the best path forward- completing BRM has been pivotal to my training approach and implementation. If you are looking for a Coach to get you or your clients to keep doing what they love and stay moving, I am here for you!
