I am a Wellness Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Personal Trainer specializing in working with women + over 40 and those in perimenopause or menopause using a 360 approach including movement and exercise, nutrition, mindset + mental wellbeing and stress management.
I was born in Trinidad and Tobago before moving to New York to pursue dance as my profession before transitioning to nonprofit management. Because of my varied background I enjoy working with people in these fields and communities, having a deep understanding of some of the challenges they face. I enjoy working with dancers to improve their physical performance and prevent injury; with arts and culture professionals seeking to build strength, resilience and leadership through lifestyle change; and also enjoy working with people from immigrant and Caribbean backgrounds being familiar with the cultural opportunities and barriers to wellness this presents.
