Senior Physical Therapist at AVION Sports Rehab. Nicole earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA in 2021. She earned her Bachelors in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA in 2016. Nicole played Division I Women’s lacrosse at SDSU.
Nicole has treated an array of injuries and patient populations including high school athletes, golfers, runners, weekend warriors, post-operative patients, geriatric patients, patients with Parkinson’s, and patients with vestibular disorders. Nicole enjoys working with patients at all levels and prides herself on getting them back to doing the activities and sports that they love. Nicole has the unique perspective of drawing from her experience as a physical therapy tech/rehab aide, a collegiate athlete, and a two time post-operative patient whenever she creates a patient’s plan of care during their rehabilitation process.
AVION Sports Rehab located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida treats acute and chronic injuries in active adults and athletes using evidence-based practice principles during a one-on-one, 1 hour session with a physical therapist or athletic trainer. AVION offers dry needling, blood flow restriction training, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping. and segmental compression.
