As a Sports and Performance Coach, I believe performance enhancement and Injury prevention is essential to training athletes. Implementing a mixture of hypertrophy, maximal strength, speed, and explosiveness is necessary by utilizing Olympic lifts, hinge patterns, push and pull exercises, plyometric, agility, speed, and endurance training into a program. I believe what occurs in the weight room will translate to sports performance. Injury prevention is also essential by implementing flexibility training and joint stability exercises into a program. Finally, establishing a team culture is the most important in developing character, hard work ethic, and mental toughness.
