I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who likes to work with barbell athletes or any person who wants to get into exercising.
I am trying to redefine what physical therapy means. A lot of people have different interpretations; some think you go to PT just to be stretched and moved and lay on some heat. While that is true in some cases, it is extremely reductive. I am not someone who just wants to massage you and make a buck out of you. I want to empower you through movement and make your life more meaningful, to allow you to get back to what you want to do! We live for a very short amount of time, why not live to the best of our ability? Why do we think when we reach 40, our health just “breaks down?” Who said that?
