Description

Certified Personal Trainer. Would like to work with barbell athletes, but not opposed to working with regular individuals.

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Both sides of my family are from Spain, so I grew up in both Hispanic and European cultures. I played several sports in my life, but I love soccer and baseball the most. At Tenerife, Spain, I attended several summer baseball academies for the Atlanta Braves. In 2013 I came to the U.S. on a baseball scholarship, I went to Lindenwood University-Belleville for my undergrad degree in Exercise Science, and I worked as a rehab tech for a year after graduating. After my rehab tech year, I got my master’s degree from Lindenwood University at St. Charles.

Growing up playing sports taught me the meaning of working hard for what you want while building relationships around you. I love personal training because it allows me to impact someone’s life in many more ways than just how much they lift or how they look. Through exercise you get to know the thoughts and feelings of people, you get to know the person, and vice versa. You are the one guiding them in their health and fitness journey, but they could have advice that can help you and can guide you as well. As a personal trainer, if lucky enough, you start with a client that can become a close friend. Being a coach lets you meet so many people and each person is a world.
