Carol Roeder, PT, DPT, SFMA, BRM.
Carol Roeder, PT, DPT, grew up in Bend, Oregon, and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from The University of St. Augustine. After working in outpatient orthopedic clinics in San Diego, she returned to Bend in 2020 to establish Osprey PT and Sports Medicine, joined by her husband, Paul, and their dog, Ren. With a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certification, Carol employs a functional movement approach in her practice, emphasizing manual techniques and individualized home exercise programs to promote patient independence. She believes that combining the examination methods from her SFMA background with the lifting knowledge gained from personal experience and the Barbell Rehab Method, she is uniquely qualified to help not only barbell athletes but also other recreational and functional athletes maximize their health, wellness, and performance while minimizing injury risk.
